Meet the Team

“Love what you do and you will never work a day in your life”

If I had to choose one quote that was the most relative to myself and my career this would be it. Being a biokineticist allows me to help people feel better, get stronger, live out their dreams and overcome obstacles that sometimes they didn’t realise they could overcome. I am able to combine two of my favourite things: exercise/movement and working with people.

Special interest includes:

  • Orthopaedic rehabilitation with special interest in backs
  • Pre and Postnatal corrective exercise and strengthening
  • Inner unit core and Diastasis Recti management

Qualifications:

BA (Sports Development) UJ; Bsc (Med)(Hons) Biokinetics UCT; Pregnancy Sāf Licenced Practitioner, Certified Pilates Instructor

Not only have we worked together for the past 4 years but we have known each other and been friends for the past 13 years! Even though we studied the same thing and have worked in the same setting, we have diverse interests, a very different way of dealing with our patients and completely opposing yet very compatible personalities.

We are also very lucky to share our incredible space with an awesome physiotherapist Julie Keal Schietekat.

We are so happy we have been given the opportunity to do what we love and we are so greatful to everyone for all the love and support we have received since opening on the 1st August 2020.
